Terms and Conditions

Last updated 29 September 2026 Diet Maestro Wellness Solutions Private Limited

The short version

We provide personalised nutrition and lifestyle guidance — a weekly plan, regular follow-ups, and support over WhatsApp during working hours.
We are not doctors, and we never prescribe or change medication. Anything to do with medicines stays between you and your doctor.
Your plan is written for you alone, and what you share with us is treated as confidential. We never publish your photos or story without asking you first.
Your plan is prepared individually from the day you enrol, so fees are not refundable once a program has started. If we are ever unable to deliver your program, we refund the part we have not delivered. If your first consultation was not of value to you, we refund the consultation fee.
Results vary from person to person, and we cannot promise a particular outcome.

This summary is here to save you time. The numbered sections below are the actual terms, and they are what apply.

1.Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us in respect of our programs and services, and replace any earlier discussion, representation, proposal or understanding, whether verbal, over WhatsApp, over call or in writing.

Please read

By booking a consultation, enrolling in a program, or making any payment to us (in full or as an installment), you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not enrol or make any payment.

Our terms — including what your program covers, our refund policy, and the medical disclaimer in section 4 — are explained to you during your consultation, before you enrol in any program. By enrolling in a program, or by making any payment towards one, you confirm that these Terms were explained to you, that you had the opportunity to ask questions about them, and that you accept them.

Where our team has explained these Terms to you during your consultation or over WhatsApp, that explanation is a summary for your convenience only. This page is the complete and binding version, and it prevails in the event of any difference between the two.

You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If the program is for a person below 18 years of age, it may be availed only by their parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on the minor's behalf and remains responsible for the program and its payments.

You confirm that all information you give us — including your name, age, contact details, medical history, medications, allergies and health goals — is true, accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

2.Use of Our Website

The content of the pages of this website is subject to change without notice.

Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Your use of any information or materials on our website and/or product pages is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services, or information available through our website and/or product pages meet your specific requirements.

Our website contains material that is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance, and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions.

All trademarks reproduced in our website which are not the property of, or licensed to, the operator are acknowledged on the website.

From time to time our website may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information.

We shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the decline of authorization for any Transaction, on Account of the Cardholder having exceeded the preset limit mutually agreed by us with our acquiring bank from time to time.

Every body is different. You agree that there is no guarantee of results.

3.Scope of Our Services

Consultation. A consultation is a standalone service and is separate from our programs. In a consultation we review your health history, lifestyle and goals, discuss your concerns, give you our assessment, explain these Terms to you, and recommend the program best suited to you. No diet plan, meal plan or written dietary advice is provided as part of a consultation, and a consultation does not include follow-ups or ongoing support. Those form part of our programs, which are enrolled in separately.

Programs. Our programs are a nutrition and lifestyle guidance service. Depending on the program you enrol in, our services include:

Personalized, science-based weekly meal plans
Weekly follow-ups to track your progress
Support over WhatsApp during our working hours
Progress monitoring and adjustments to your plan as required
Guidance for eating out
Grocery guidance to help you make informed food choices
Dietary guidance intended to support overall blood parameters, wherever relevant
Science-based general exercise guidance
Access to the Diet Maestro Client Portal, a private web page where your plan, your recipes, your exercise guidance, the notes from your follow-ups and the readings you choose to record are kept in one place. The Portal forms part of your program and is covered by section 24

These are the only services we provide. Anything not listed above does not form part of your program, and no other service, outcome or timeline is promised, whether discussed in writing, over WhatsApp, or verbally.

4.Medical Disclaimer

We are not doctors and we do not practise medicine. Nothing we provide is a medical diagnosis, treatment, prescription or a substitute for the advice of a qualified medical practitioner.

Important — medication

We do not prescribe, recommend, alter, substitute or discontinue any medicine, drug, supplement or dosage. Any decision regarding medication — including changes you may wish to make while following your plan — must be taken only by your own treating doctor. Please do not stop, start or change any medication on the basis of anything shared by us.

Where our guidance is aimed at supporting blood parameters such as blood sugar, lipids or other markers, it is dietary guidance only. Such markers must continue to be monitored and managed by your doctor, and you should continue any treatment prescribed to you unless your doctor advises otherwise.

You confirm that you have disclosed all existing medical conditions, allergies, food intolerances, medications and supplements to us, and that you have your doctor's clearance to follow a diet and exercise program. You agree to inform us promptly of any change in your health, medication or pregnancy status.

Exercise guidance provided by us is general in nature and is not physiotherapy, rehabilitation or a substitute for supervised training. You should undertake it only if you are medically fit to do so, and you should stop and seek medical attention if you experience pain, discomfort or any adverse symptom.

If you experience any medical emergency or adverse health event, contact your doctor or emergency services immediately. Do not rely on WhatsApp support for medical emergencies.

Every body responds differently. No specific result, weight change or improvement in any health parameter is guaranteed.

5.Exercise Illustrations

The exercise illustrations in our Client Portal and in our program materials are computer-generated images, created using AI tools. They do not depict real people, real clients, or photographs of any individual.

Illustrative only

They are provided to show the general form of each movement. They are illustrative only and are not a medical, anatomical or biomechanical reference. Where an illustration and the written instruction differ, the written instruction and the guidance given by your Diet Maestro consultant take precedence.

The illustrations are supplied for your personal use as part of your program. They may not be copied, redistributed, resold or used commercially, and section 12 applies to them as it does to the rest of our materials.

If an illustration looks wrong to you, or does not match the written instruction, please tell us — we will check it and correct it.

6.Installment Plans

We offer installment options for our various programs. The fee for the program you enrol in may be paid in full or in installments, as agreed between you and us before the program starts.

Installment plans are decided by us and communicated to you before the program starts. You may choose to pay in installments as per the agreed plan.

If payment is not made within the agreed time frame, we may pause the program until it is received. We may terminate the program if payment remains outstanding after repeated reminders.

To reactivate a program that has been terminated for non-payment, a reactivation fee of INR 2,000 (or its equivalent in the currency you pay in) is payable along with the outstanding installments.

7.Pause, Break or Hold in Programs

We do not encourage breaks as they hinder the flow of diet and lifestyle changes that we recommend. Moreover, lifestyle changes are about integrating those into your life regardless of what you are up to. Though if for some other emergent reason, you need to pause your program, please get in touch with us.

If the hold is approved, you are entitled to have a maximum of 2 weeks break in a 3-month program, 4 weeks break in a 6-month program, and 6 weeks break in a 12-month program. Hold/Pause facility is not applicable to 1-month programs.

Hold/Pause facility is applicable for once only during your current program. Multiple holds/pauses are not allowed. We may offer a 2-week break ourselves during the 6 & 12 months program, in case we feel the need. Your plan will get terminated if the break extends beyond the mentioned time period for the break. If you want to reactivate your program, a reactivation fee of INR 2,000 (or its equivalent in the currency you pay in) will apply.

NOTE: Installments need to be paid according to the installment plan and dates allotted to you irrespective if your current program is on hold or not. Failure to do so will lead to the termination of your current plan.

8.Termination of the Program

You may stop your program at any time by telling us. We would always prefer to talk it through first, so please do let us know what is not working for you.

We may terminate the program if you do not report and do not attend follow-ups for more than three consecutive weeks without a valid reason.

Fees already paid are not refunded when a program ends this way — please see the Refund Policy below. To restart afterwards, a reactivation fee of INR 2,000 (or its equivalent in the currency you pay in) will apply.

9.Refund Policy

Our programs are personalised guidance, prepared for you from the moment you enrol. For that reason, fees paid are not refundable, and any installments not yet paid remain due for the program you enrolled in.

When we do refund

We will refund you where we have charged you twice for the same thing, and where we are unable to provide your program at all — for example if we cancel it before it begins, or if we cannot continue it for a reason on our side. In that case we will refund the fee for the part of the program we have not delivered, or offer to extend it, whichever you prefer.

Separately, if you feel at the end of your first consultation that it was not of value to you, tell us within 7 days of that session and we will refund your consultation fee. This applies to the consultation fee alone, and does not apply once you have enrolled in a program.

If you live in the United Kingdom or the European Union. The law where you live gives you the right to cancel within 14 days of enrolling. By enrolling and making payment, you ask us to start your program straight away, within those 14 days. If you cancel within the 14 days, we will refund what you have paid, less the value of the part of the program already provided to you up to the date you tell us. Once your program has been fully provided, this right to cancel no longer applies.

Nothing here affects any right available to you as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or under any consumer law that applies to you where you live. If you feel something has gone wrong, please talk to us first — our Grievance Officer is contactable using the details in section 20 and we would much rather resolve it with you directly.

10.Your Responsibilities

Our guidance can only be as good as the information you give us and the effort you put in. You agree that you will:

disclose all medical conditions, surgeries, allergies, food intolerances, medications and supplements before starting, and keep us informed of any change, including pregnancy;
obtain and follow your doctor's advice regarding any medical condition or medication;
report honestly during follow-ups, including deviations from your plan;
follow the plan sensibly and stop immediately and seek medical help if you feel unwell; and
use the plan only for yourself.

We are not responsible for any outcome arising from information you did not disclose to us, from advice you took elsewhere, or from a plan that was not followed as given.

11.How We Communicate With You

Support is provided over WhatsApp, call or email during our working hours on working days. We aim to respond within a reasonable time, but we do not offer round-the-clock, emergency or on-demand availability, and no specific response time is promised.

Our support channels must never be used for a medical emergency or any urgent health concern. In such a situation, please contact your doctor or emergency services immediately.

You agree to communicate with our team respectfully. We may suspend or terminate a program, without refund, in case of abusive, threatening or harassing conduct towards our team.

12.Your Plan Is for Your Personal Use Only

Every diet plan, chart, recipe, guide, recording and other material we share with you is prepared for you individually, and remains our intellectual property. It is licensed to you for your own personal, non-commercial use for the duration of your program.

You may not copy, share, forward, publish, distribute, sell, resell or otherwise make our plans or materials available to any other person, including family members, friends or on any social media, messaging group or website, without our prior written consent. A plan written for one person's health profile can be unsuitable, and in some cases unsafe, for another.

Unauthorised use of our materials shall give rise to a claim for damages and any other remedy available to us in law.

13.Confidentiality and Your Personal Data

We treat the health information you share with us as confidential and use it only to deliver your program, except where disclosure is required by law. How we collect, store and use your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

14.Photographs, Testimonials and Case Studies

Any progress photographs, reports, reviews or testimonials you share with us may be used by us for our records and for promotional purposes only with your specific consent, which you may withdraw at any time by writing to us. Where consent is withdrawn, we will stop further use, though material already published or circulated by third parties may not always be recoverable.

15.Payments and Chargebacks

Payments are processed by third-party payment gateways. We do not store your card, banking or UPI credentials, and we are not responsible for any failure, delay, decline or error at the gateway or at your bank. Any bank or gateway charge, currency conversion cost or transaction fee is to your account.

Program fees are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise on your invoice. Fees may be revised from time to time, but a revision will not affect a program you have already enrolled in.

If you live outside India and pay in a foreign currency, your program is an export of services from India and no Indian GST is charged on it. Please give us your full billing address when you pay (for clients in the United States, including your city, state and ZIP code), as it must appear on your invoice.

If you have any concern about a payment, please write to us first, at the address in section 20, before raising a dispute with your bank or card issuer. Our programs are delivered as personalised guidance from the date of enrolment, and most payment questions are resolved far more quickly by talking to us directly.

16.Limitation of Liability

Our services are nutrition and lifestyle guidance, provided in good faith and on a best-effort basis. They are not medical services, and no doctor-patient relationship is created between you and us.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive loss or damage, or for any loss of income, profits, opportunity or data, arising out of or in connection with our programs, our website, or any guidance provided by us.

Limit of our liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you, arising out of or in connection with our programs and services, howsoever arising, shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you to us for the program in question.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and nothing in these Terms affects any right available to you as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or under any consumer law that applies to you where you live.

17.Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DIET MAESTRO WELLNESS SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED, its directors, dietitians, employees and associates against any claim, loss, liability, cost or expense arising out of your breach of these Terms, your failure to disclose relevant health information, or your sharing of our plans or materials with any other person.

18.Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure in providing our services on account of any cause beyond our reasonable control, including illness, act of God, natural calamity, epidemic or pandemic, government restriction, strike, failure of internet, power or telecommunication services, or failure of any third-party platform. In such an event we will resume the program as soon as reasonably possible, and the affected period may be extended rather than refunded.

19.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version published on this page, with the "Last updated" date shown above, is the version in force for new enrolments.

A change to these Terms does not alter the terms of a program you have already enrolled in. Your program continues on the Terms that applied when you enrolled, unless we both agree otherwise.

20.Grievance Redressal

If you have any complaint or grievance regarding our services, please write to us and we will acknowledge it within 48 hours and endeavour to resolve it within 30 days.

21.If You Are Outside India

Our services are provided from India and are governed by Indian law. We are not a healthcare provider registered in your country, and nothing we provide is a medical service there.

If you are outside India, it is your responsibility to satisfy yourself that following a nutrition and lifestyle program from us is suitable and lawful where you live.

22.Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with our website, your purchase, or your engagement with us, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Before initiating any proceeding, you agree to first raise the matter with our Grievance Officer using the details above and to allow us 30 days to resolve it amicably. Subject to the foregoing, and without affecting any right available to you as a consumer under applicable law, the courts at Mohali (S.A.S. Nagar), Punjab, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

23.General

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Any delay or failure on our part in enforcing any provision of these Terms shall not be a waiver of that provision or of any other right.

Our programs are personal to you and are not transferable. You may not assign or transfer your program, or your rights under these Terms, to any other person. We may assign our rights and obligations to any successor entity.

Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.

24.The Client Portal

24.1 What it is. As part of your program we may give you access to the Diet Maestro Client Portal, a private web page where your plan, your recipes, your exercise guidance, the notes from your follow-ups and the readings you choose to record are kept in one place. The Portal is part of the program. There is no separate fee for it, and it is not sold separately.

24.2 Your login. Your login is personal to you. We send your first password to you on WhatsApp and you choose your own when you first sign in. Please keep it to yourself, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has it. One login belongs to one client. Letting another person use your login, or using someone else's, is a breach of section 12.

24.3 The Portal shows your information. It does not interpret it. Everything in the Portal is either what your dietitian has written for you or what you have recorded yourself. The Portal does not assess your readings, does not tell you whether a number is good or bad, does not diagnose anything and does not give medical advice. Nothing in the Portal changes section 4.

Important — no one is watching your readings

24.4 The Portal is a record, not a monitoring service. Recording a reading does not notify us, and no one reviews readings as they are entered. If a reading worries you, or you feel unwell, contact your doctor. In an emergency, call your local emergency number or go to your nearest hospital. Please do not use the Portal, WhatsApp or email to report an emergency — section 11 applies here too.

24.5 What you record is your own record. You choose what to record, and you can change or remove it at any time. We rely on what you record being accurate and honest, as section 10 already requires, and your dietitian may take it into account when reviewing your plan at your follow-up.

24.6 Exercise guidance in the Portal. Exercise guidance in the Portal is general guidance, as sections 3 and 4 say. It is not personal training, physiotherapy or rehabilitation. The illustrations shown in the Portal are covered by section 5. Stop, and speak to your doctor, if a movement causes pain, dizziness or breathlessness.

24.7 Availability. The Portal is a web page, not an application from any app store. You may add it to your home screen if you wish; it asks for no access to your phone. We will try to keep the Portal available, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of faults, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it.

24.8 How long your access lasts. Your access runs for the length of your program. We keep it open for 30 days after your program ends so that you can download your plans, after which it closes. We may suspend or end your access if these Terms are breached, or where your program is paused or ended under sections 7 or 8. Closing your access does not by itself delete your information; our Privacy Policy says what we keep and for how long, and you may ask us to delete it.

24.9 What is in the Portal belongs to us. The plans, recipes, illustrations, written guidance and the design of the Portal are ours or are licensed to us. You may use them for yourself, print them and keep them. You may not copy, publish, share or sell them, in whole or in part, including as screenshots, and you may not use them to advise anyone else. This is the same rule as section 12.

24.10 Your information in the Portal. What you record is confidential and is handled as our Privacy Policy describes. We never use it for advertising or share it with anyone for their own purposes, and the Portal loads no advertising or tracking from anyone else.

Questions about these Terms?

If anything here is unclear, or you wish to raise a grievance, please contact us. We acknowledge every grievance within 48 hours.
